The Independent has marked International Women’s Day by naming the 50 most influential women across a range of sectors, who all have one thing in common – they all have an extraordinary impact on UK women’s lives.
This year, our co-founder Hetti Barkworth-Nanton was named on the list, joining the likes of Gisèle Pelicot, The Princess of Wales, Keely Hodgkinson, Cynthia Erivo and Emma Grede.
Hetti has built an career both in the financial and commercial sectors and given unwavering commitment to aiding survivors of domestic abuse resulting in a place on The Independent Women 2025 – The Influence List.
As a tireless campaigner, she has dedicated her efforts to eradicating violence against women and girls, an endeavour that saw her awarded a CBE for services to people affected by domestic abuse and receive a Pride of Britain Award in 2024.
